Ristorante Giglio in Province of Como

"I stopped here for lunch and what a wonderful place. The view was incredible and the food was the best I've had in Italy. Giacomo helped us navigate the menu and try things that we would have never tried on our own. I believe I will make a special stop here every time I'm on Lake Como. The veal sweet bread and black Ravioli were my favorite. My wife loved her local fish salad. A must try!"

"The place is great. We had local pasta which was very delicious with the best view at the lake. The service was great and we felt very comfortable. The scenery is amazing and peaceful, on the contrary with other more touristic villages like Bellaggio. We enjoyed every minute in Lenno and in the restaurant Giglio. Its not the cheapest but it deserves it"

"Ristorante Giglio is an upscale yet relaxed modern restaurant situated directly off the walkway bordering Lake Como, in Lenno Italy. With great food, and a professional plus friendly staff, my party found it very comfortable dining on their outdoor patio in July. For my entreé I dined upon the suckling pig, which was cut into two thick medallions, and encrusted with pistachios. It was served in a sort of thin gravy, with a garlic aoli complementing the thick cut potatoes served on the side. For dessert I had the Sweet cheese ball, garnished with basil, and with a raspberry and strawberry at its base. It was also stuffed with an almost pesto-consistency basil pureé, and drizzled over top was a berry sauce covering the entire thing. Everything was very good!"

"We are staying at Albergo Lenno and the restaurant is full every night and we thought we would give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised! The menu is very interesting and not your usual run of the mill hotel restaurant. It is not usual that you see sweet bread on the menu and it was delicious! Flavour and presentation of other dishes were also spot on and elegantly executed."
